The Resort

Valdesquí is a ski resort located in the Sierra de Guadarrama and is part of the municipality of Rascafria, in the northwest region of the Comunidad de Madrid, in Spain. Nearby is also the Puerto de Navacerrada Ski Resort.
The station is one of the most popular in the region and is visited mainly on weekends. Its success is essentially due to its proximity to the Madrid metropolitan area and the good road access. The Valdesquí Ski Resort is very suitable for beginners and intermediate skiers and snowboarders, with a large central area for beginners and higher areas for more experienced practitioners. The slopes converge towards the lower area of the resort, where services are concentrated, such as a restaurant, cafeteria, equipment rental and a ski and snowboard school. In terms of accommodation, there are several options available in the urban areas close to the station.
