The Resort
The Serra da Estrela Ski Resort is located in the municipality of Seia, in Portugal, within the Serra da Estrela Natural Park. The resort extends to an altitude of approximately 2000 meters at the highest point, which is also the highest point in mainland Portugal.
The ski resort has a small ski area, but very suitable especially for beginners in winter sports, who can attend classes at the local school. The Serra da Estrela region is well known for its excellent hotel offer and especially for the rich and very tasty local cuisine.
