The Resort

The Portillo Ski Resort in Chile is the oldest winter resort in South America, known for its extraordinary beauty and world-class skiing and snowboarding. Portillo is a unique resort, with casual elegance and a warm social atmosphere that encourages all visitors to feel part of the family.
The resort is located at 2850 meters above sea level, close to the border with Argentina. The highest mountain in the western hemisphere, Aconcagua, is also very close to the resort. The hotel and ski area surround the beautiful Inca Lake in a spectacular setting that is naturally therapeutic for any visitor.
